That’s right. If you were around dotunuki a few years ago… I mean, like mad years, then you may remember how I gushed over “It’s Blitz” the last outing for the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s. Admittedly, I’m not into music news and gossip as I was at a younger age, so I’m not up on band break ups and all that kind of stuff. I came to hear that the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s had their problems, broke up, whatever. It’s really not news. The story is the same with bands. Especially awesome ones. Everyone gets tired of each other, everyone thinks they’re more responsible for success, whatever, choose your band beef. But you should also know… they’re gonna get back together for subsequent albums… that’s just how it goes. Of course, this depends on how many albums the band has put out. It’s kind of like a physics problem. Suffice to say, the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s don’t have enough albums to call it quits legitimately, it’s just physics. Anyway, when it comes to them, I’m a sight unseen guy. I’m gonna buy it. I never buy preorders but the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s are the only group to make me bow to the pre-order. And I did, maybe you should too… Hell, maybe I should pick up a Rolling Stone or something… resubscribe to Nylon? NME?
MIA – Galang Space Ghost edit. To be honest, this track can be found on ViCki LEEKX or Piracy Funds Terrorism, both which dotunuki brought to you way back when. Dope enough to stand the test of time, I’d snap that up if that link still gets you to something downloadable. The track is not a total reRip, its reworked a bit and made a bit doper than it was. But you can’t do much better, especially when you’re working with that classic Vicious track “GLOCK”
So if you can’t get Piracy Funds ‘T’ this is the next best thing.

dotunuki hasn’t posted any tunes in a while, well let’s change that. Urb has a podcast series and if you don’t know by now, you should know that podcasts are awesome. There’s nothing like catching up on a cache of podcasts. Even more awesome when that podcast is music.

What’s a photoscheme, you ask? Well it’s not quite stop motion, where you snap a picture for each piece of action and animate it. A photoscheme is when you raid your photo archives and put together a narrative using whatever you find there. No taking new pictures to fill the gaps only editing that which you have and trying to make it work in the context. It’s like an extracurricular activity for photographers who will no doubt have a mass of images they have no use for as the best have already been used for a static work. Hmmm, maybe I should make up some Dogma95 type rules, lol.
New Doom coming on the 21st of August. Beth Gibbons from Portishead is among the contributors to this piece, a collaborative album between Doom and Jneiro Jarel. Get your pre-order on if you want extra shit. Espo did the artwork. Dotunuki is a fan of Espo, he wrote, The Art of Getting Over and I studied it… should have brought it with me, hell cop that while you’re waiting for Doom to come out.
